Written for the dance company SOMAFON. "Rock the Chair" is the first of six movements originally produced for the dance-play Onkel & Tanzen which was first performed in Zürich in the spring of 2014.

TAKE A SEAT. ROCK THE CHAIR. FORGET THE WORLD IS WATCHING. FORGET WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE. FORGET YOUR FAILURES. FORGET YOUR ENEMIES. FORGET YOUR LIMITS. CLOSE YOUR EYES.LOOK BACK. REMEMBER YOUR AUNT AND UNCLE. REMEMBER YOUR MOM AND DAD. FALL BACK INTO THEIR WORLD. LET THEM GROW YOUNG. FEEL THEIR SOFT SKIN. THINK OF THEIR WISHES. ENJOY THEM.
